I created this ad in partnership with 'The Change In Us' to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We created this campaign which Raised $3,248

for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in 2 Weeks

In College I started a headwear company called ‘Rawr 7’. Instead of traditional marketing, I would organize events that would get participants to donate money to charity, while simultaneously purchase my hats. These events were usually to try break a world record of some kind, giving attendees a fun experience while helping others.


Below is an event “Snowmen For Charity” where we set out to break the record for ‘Most Snowmen Built in an Hour.’ We raised $3,291 for the local Family Crisis Center to help young families purchase diapers, toilet paper, and other basic needs.


Unfortunately, the snow wouldn’t compact, so we pivoted last minute to attempt the ‘Most Snow Angels in an Hour’ (Guinness did not count it).

Although not a charity event, I did try to beat the Worlds Longest Slip-N-Slide record. We advertised through Social Media using DM’s, Over 500 people attended throughout the event. Unfortunately the record was broken a few months after we filed our application. We still got a cool video out of it, and I sold enough hats to pay for another semester of college.
